Connie earned her degrees in Cognitive Behavioral Neuroscience and Cognitive Behavioral Psychology from Virginia Tech, where she developed a strong foundation in the mind-body connection and its role in overall health. She is also the in-house certified phlebotomist and laboratory technician, providing hands-on clinical and lab expertise to support accurate testing and compassionate patient care. With experience as a dental assistant and optometric technician, she brings a solid clinical background that helps patients feel supported and informed throughout their healthcare journey.

Her passion for integrative medicine was inspired by her sister’s diagnosis of Ulcerative Colitis, which led her to explore functional medicine and holistic approaches to healing. Her Korean heritage has also given her firsthand exposure to traditional Eastern medicine, aligning with the practice’s integrative approach to wellness.

Outside of work, Connie enjoys planning her next trip, discovering hidden gems in local food scenes, and getting lost in a good book. She especially values slow weekends with friends and family. She brings that same warmth and attentiveness to her work, creating a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable, supported, and cared for throughout their healthcare journey.
