IV therapy: It depends on the IV nutrients and amount of fluid used for the treatment. Generally between 30-60 minutes. Detox and vitamin C IV’s of higher doses can take up to 2 hours.
IM injections: Only the time for the injection (<1 minute), along with check in, evaluation time, etc.
Everyone’s tolerance and perception of needles is different! We aim to make needle insertions as painless as possible. We also offer topical numbing spray. Once the needle is inserted, the rest of the process is painless.
For IV therapy, you get to relax comfortably in one of our recliners until your drip is done.
Yes! All our IV’s are ordered from CLIA certified pharmacies that specialize in IV therapy compounding and are FDA approved. IV therapy is monitored and administered by our independently-licensed Nurse practitioner after review of your health questionnaire.
Side effects are rare and mostly limited to needle sticks (bruising, redness or irritation). We err on the side of extra caution with our uniquely sensitive patients and start at low doses to identify and avoid any unique reactions or sensitivities. True allergic reactions are rare.
This depends on your needs and goals. We will give you personalized recommendations to meet your needs and budget.
For basic health maintenance & optimization in otherwise health individuals, we recommend a basic Myer’s (B vitamins, vitamin C, minerals, hydration) 1-2 x/month. You could add minerals and glutathione for extra support.
It is always a good idea to hydrate before your appointment so that your veins are plump for IV insertion. You are welcome to bring your headphones or a book to relax while your therapy is administered. That is it!

High dose vitamin C (over 5 grams and up to 50 grams) can be incredibly therapeutic, but it is not for people with kidney disease or people with G6PD deficiencies. High dose vitamin can effect electrolyte levels and cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)
We test all of these things before you get Vitamin C IV’s 10 grams or higher. You will need to come in a few business days before to run labs to qualify for high dose vitamin C treatment.
