We’re Functional and Integrative Medicine specialists.

Here’s what that means:

Root Cause Medicine

At InHealthRVA, we tackle the root causes of disease. While conventional medicine typically uses diagnoses that are more descriptive than diagnostic, the Functional Medicine approach asks why we have certain symptoms and diagnosis, not just “what.”

Wholistic systems

While conventional medicine treats you like a collection of independent parts and symptoms, Functional Medicine recognizes that no part of the body works in isolation, it is all connected. We know that you are unique and your current health is the result of multiple influences including, your genetics, epigenetics, personal and environmental life history.

Advanced Functional Labs

InHealthRVA utilizes carefully vetted and selective labs to help us analyze and understand your health. We look at more than just a CBC, CMP and lipids to figure out what is going on in your body.

Personalized Medicine

Through detailed and expert analysis of advanced labs and your life history, we work to understand what’s going on, how to address the root causes of your health issues and to create an individual health plan to get you to your optimal wellness.

The many factors that create your unique health picture are like the pieces of a very complex jigsaw puzzle.

We spend time with you to analyze your life and medical history, lifestyle, and combine that with advanced labs to help get as many pieces of that jigsaw puzzle on the table, so we can make out the whole picture.

Pieces of the puzzle to your health include:
